Cafeteria Meal Rate Increase 2015-2016

authorMay 5th, 2015

Dear Parent or Guardian:

Sulphur Public Schools would like to let you know due to the rising cost of food and to stay in compliance with the USDA we are raising our cafeteria meal prices. The new rates will go into effect August 13th for the 2015-2016 school year.

The rates will be as followed:

PK-2nd grades will be: $1.50 Breakfast & Lunch $2.00 per meal.
3rd-12th grades will be: $1.75 Breakfast & Lunch $2.50 per meal.

The reduced meal charge will not change breakfast will be .30 & lunch will be .40.

Extra milk charge will be .35

Please fill out the free and reduced meals application for your child/children. The applications will be available in your child’s school office in July.   If your child is enrolled in school your child has to have a lunch application on file each year. Please return application even if your child does not eat in the cafeteria.

If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact your school or the Administration Office. It is very important that all students fill out a lunch application. We must take advantage of these benefits to better serve all students.

I hope you have a safe and profitable summer.
